Our prayers are with Busia Ebenezer Academy Complex fraternity during this moment of grief as they mourn the eight pupils who perished in a tragic road accident at Kaburengu along Eldoret-Malaba highway last Saturday.
Our focus now shifts to post trauma counselling of affected pupils, teachers and parents to ensure they regain a sense of control over their lives.
Today, I joined mourners for a memorial service for the young departed souls at the Busia Vocational Training Centre grounds (Busia Polytechnic) with a rallying call to road engineers to pull up their socks in road rehabilitation especially in blackspot areas.
